Dr. Mae Abdalla grew up in Kitchener Waterloo and received her Dental degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio in 2003. After graduating, Mae continued to do a hospital General Practice Residency in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The residency allowed her to treat medically compromised patients that required complex treatment.

In 2007, she married Dr. Daniel Hendricks and moved to Heidelberg, Germany where she worked as a Civilian Contract Dentist treating soldiers and their families. Her experience in Germany provided her the opportunity to work closely with many patient populations including children, Veterans and soldiers ready to deploy.  In 2011, Daniel and Mae joined Harvard Rd Dental Care and made Guelph their new home. Dr. Abdalla particular enjoys working with children and building relationships with her patients.  Mae’s focus is Functional Dentistry that focusses on guiding children to develop to their fullest potential.   This encompasses the mouth body connection, dental and jaw development, nutrition, myofunctional therapy and sleep disorder breathing.  Our goal for each of our patients is to promote oral health by establishing  proper function.
Outside of the office, Mae and Daniel stay very busy with their two young sons, Zeyad and Ali. They enjoy many outdoor activities and travelling.  Mae is also fluent in Arabic.
